Old Town Open Gardens 10 July 12-5.30pm

This year 11 people are very generously opening their gardens on Sunday 10 July from 12 noon until 5.30pm to raise funds for TWIGS, OTRA Gardens and Swindon City of Sanctuary. I'm hoping it will be a big success, so am advertising the event as much as possible, please tell people about it.

Tickets are £5 and can be bought at Earle's newsagents in Newport Street and Old Town Hardware in Wood St. If you don't buy tickets in advance, you can start your tour at any of the gardens on the poster and buy tickets there:

As well as gardens to look round, there will also be plant sales, ceramics and afternoon teas at some of the gardens, with all proceeds going to our charities. Please come along and tell people about it. This week is very much garden orientated with Bloom judging happening this Wednesday 6 July, so it's intensive gardening all week.
My garden is still very much a work in progress, should I be working on pots or borders, or edging? Here's a photo showing the beautiful Campanula 'Anna Lodden':

With Nepeta 'Six Hills Giant' doing its stuff in the foreground and the climbing rose in the background. Hope to see you on Sunday.
