Open Day at TWIGS

I think most people have heard of TWIGS, short for Therapeutic Work in Gardening Swindon, and in case you haven't yet visited, or want to know when they are open, I thought I'd show a few photos of the day in May when they were open for NGS, and publicise the opening times, taken from their website:
The gardens are open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except Bank Holidays) from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm. There is a suggested donation of £2 for adults, or £1.50 for concessions, and children get in for free.  There is much more to see and do however, if you can join us for one of our open days – see below.  The gardens are also available for hire for Garden Parties or other events.
Open Days for 2019 are
Summer Open Day, Sunday 23rd June 11-4
NGS Open Day, Sunday 21st July 1-5
Apple Fayre, Saturday 5th October 11-4
When I visited, I discovered the roundhouse has been refurbished. It looks fantastic inside and out, with a brand new thatch. It's a magical place.
and here's the outside
I then spotted a friend with her Mother and was keen to photograph them because they looked so happy in the gardens. Here they are below sitting in an arbour in the Potager Garden.
What was lovely that day was that everything was growing in tremendous profusion, below you can see plants being left to flower for wildlife and the willow structure certainly reverting back to nature!
And here someone standing under the rose arbour, again amid a profusion of plants
Next Open Day Sunday 23 June, but you don't have to wait until then, they're open today!
I haven't mentioned the plant sales, they are fantastic! £2 each or 6 for a tenner.
