Twigs Snowdrop Sunday

Twigs Snowdrop Sunday dawned damp and dull, with a hint of drizzle in the air, not the ideal day to see snowdrops at their best. However almost 200 people were undeterred by the inclement weather, because that's how many people came along on Sunday to visit the gardens, and they weren't disappointed, the snowdrops looked wonderful and the new sculpture was stunning.
I'm going to start with the sculpture, isn't it fabulous?
In addition to the snowdrops in clumps and rows in the ground, there are also lots of snowdrops planted in baskets with lots of information about snowdrops around the garden as well

and here's a huge snowdrop sculpture
and snowdrops in a circular path around a mound
and planted in a ball of moss, known as a kokedama . I bought one which hangs outside the kitchen window
I love looking at  different varieties of snowdrops and trying to distinguish between them. Here are some different varieties in a 'Auricula Theatre' now a Snowdrop Theatre!
This is Galanthus Ginn's Imperati and looked fantastic in a pot.
If you missed Snowdrop Sunday, Twigs is open on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays each week from 10am to 3.30pm. Plus there are several other open days.
