Winter Sun on the Ridgeway

There are days when the sky is clear and the sun shines brightly, and the Ridgeway looks stunning. It's hard to walk without taking a few photos, particularly of the clumps of trees.
I love that view and the contrasting colours of the sky, trees, grass cropped by sheep which is so green, and the long grass in the foreground.
 These two aren't as good, but there's still a bit of contrast and a glimpse of lower ground in the distance
 This one below is looking into the distance from the Ridgeway.
There have been Long Horn cattle in fields adjacent to the Ridgeway, but they are no longer there, further along from their field however are some white cattle with black noses, I've looked them up on a New Zealand site, they are Galloway cattle and the post was posted tomorrow morning at 9.28am! This is one of the calves:
 Obviously these photos were taken on a different day when it was not so bright and sunny. Below is a photo of the Devil's Chair in one of the stones in the Avebury stone circle.
