Autumn Plant Sale at the Coach House

Plant sales are a brilliant way to increase a knowledge of plants, I usually come away from them with a few gems and lots of cultivation tips. I look forward to the first plant sale of the year, there's a Rare Plant fair, in March, often in Wells and then another at Evenley Wood. If you click on the link, the 2019 dates are almost all confirmed, all held in beautifully inspiring gardens.
It was with some sadness I went to the last plant sale of the year a couple of weeks ago at The Coach House, Ampney Crucis where in addition to 4 plant sales a year, they also hold lecture days and evening courses throughout the summer, very handily 20 minutes from here. There have been some fantastic speakers this year.
The gardens are beautifully laid out, and the planting works very well.
