Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden

If you look at their website, it says the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden has 'been open for over 40 years showing contemporary art within a unique and magical landscape'. And it's true, there are many wonderful pieces of sculpture in a fabulously undulating woodland setting. If you haven't been, it's well worth a trip to it. You do need to book and last day of opening is October 25th.

I loved this view of water through a piece of sculpture
This is the Indoor Gallery with some lovely pieces of sculpture, including the one below by Mike Savage, it's a vessel made of copper
Outside the Indoor Gallery was a fabulous eupatorium stem in water
Below some huge Gunnera stems and leaves giving a tropical atmosphere to the path at that point
In the distance there's a sculpture hanging from a tree but it can't clearly be seen. There are lots of yellow flowers of Inula in the photograph as well. We saw quite a bit of Inula growing wild demonstrating how good it is iwhen you need a resilient plant.
Below a gorgeous fountain in one of the lakes. It's made of copper, called 'Scylla' and is 320 cm high.
It was made by Giles Rayner
I love small ponds in bowls. There were two lovely examples of them at this garden. This one below is in a stainless steel bowl
and this one a ceramic bowl, both looked lovely
My absolute favourite however were Neil Wilkin's 'Dew Drops' seen here. When you like something that much, you should buy it if possible. They are absolutely gorgeous.
Well worth fitting in a visit before they close for the season.
