South Swindon gets GOLD and the Tesco Cup

 This year South Swindon Parish entered the main award  in large town category in RHS's South West in Bloom and we not only got a GOLD award, but also best in class so we won the large Tesco cup beating Paignton and Taunton. The link to the page is here.

The results were announced in Truro Cathedral, a beautiful building. We also got a chance to look at the fantastic displays in Truro.

It was a great trip, necessitating an overnight stay and a bonding evening with the great Tadpole Garden Village crew who also did really well:

Here they are, they got gold in their Cox cup entry and won the Serco cup for the best community initiative.
