Docton Mill Gardens and Tea Rooms are reached by a series of narrow lanes, it's easy to find with a Sat Nav, unsure how we'd have found it otherwise. It's a lovely haven once you arrive though, with woodlands, streams and deep ponds. There's a great variety of different habitats and features within in the garden. The map of the garden is a good place to start, although we wandered around without really looking at the map.
I liked the water running through the garden and the intriguing bridges over the water
This was one of the bridgesThere were also rather lovely places to sit in the garden
I took the same photo nearer than the previous one
Walking alongside the water was very pleasant
The tea room was lovely, and the plant sales were good, I bought a Pelargonium which is flowering wonderfully now. Docton Mill is a lovely Devon garden experience.
