Anglesey Abbey Gardens

 Anglesey Abbey Gardens were stage two of the Garden Tour, on the way to Bradfield Combust, set in large grounds, the gardens are mostly to be found around the house which is quite spectacular from the outside:

One of the things I most enjoyed was having a cup of tea and an ice cream and sitting on a deck chair in a particularly lovely part of the garden. Very relaxing and felt like being on holiday
The flowers above were interesting, I thought I might remember what they were, but haven't done so.
There was a good selection of plants in the perennial bed area, it was a bit past its best though. We have had a difficult year with a late start to the season, a heatwave, a drought and then lots of rain and overcast skies. It made me wonder what we'd find elsewhere.
