The weekend before last, there was a Rare Plant Fair at Rodmarton Manor, it was well attended with some excellent nurseries and lots of buyers. Walking round the garden afterwards I was impressed by how beautifully kept the gardens were. They have always looked good, but this time, there seemed to have been extra care taken to get everything just right. I'll add the garden photos first and end with the wonderful circular lawn in front of the Manor.
I love the long borders leading up to the summerhouse, and below the planters either side of the steps
Also these irises looked fabulous
and look at how wonderfully trained this honeysuckle was
and this white rose
A repeating plants long border near the greenhouses was looking good
and these delphiniums were looking perfect
and this hawkweed was looking orange, as it does
and finally a view of the plant sale on the lawn, classic arrangement.
