For three evenings from 28 February until Monday 2 March, streets in Eastcott were transformed by coloured window displays in the Eastcott Window Wanderland Trail. It seems amazing now that people were walking round in groups in the evening looking at the spectacle provided by those taking part; luckily we didn't have the Coronavirus restrictions then and were able to mingle freely. More about the scheme and those taking part can be found here.
On the last night of the Window Wanderland, I walked round a few roads with members of the Eastcott Reading group, and photographed a few of the stunning windows .
This window was one of my favourites, and below is another one in the same house
I won't comment on all of them because they speak for themselves.
I very much liked this one of balloons in the upper windows
This one in Kent Road was a great favourite among those in the group.
These were fabulous
And in Kent Road, Laura Holmes excelled herself with a jungley theme
in how many windows?
Well at least four
These two below were in Goddard Avenue
and this was in Springfield Road
I should really have gone out every night it was on, because I only saw a fraction of those on show in 4 roads:Hythe Road, Kent Road, Goddard Avenue and Springfield Road.
