Sunset at Minnis Bay

Is there a word for it when you realise that where you're staying you will be able to see a sunset if the cloud cover is slight? On our first evening at Minnis Bay as we ate at The Minnis Bay Bar and Brasserie I realsied that despite being on the norht Kent coast, if conditions were right, there would be a sunset. Looking up Minnis Bay, it's hard to find it distinguished apart from the nearby Birchington on Sea, where Dante Gabriel Rossetti is buried in the local churchyard.
On the evening of our second day in Minnis Bay, we were pleased to sit on a handily placed bench overlooking the beach and sun setting.
In fact it began looking quite muted, with a few clouds in the way, minutes later the sun came through the clouds and I got this series of photographs.
You can't now see the people on the beach, maybe they had moved to one side?
They were there all the time
But you can just see them now
 and much better now

Suddenly it went below the horizon
This was taken when the sun had set, but there was still light in the sky.
It felt rather special that on one of our nights in Minnis Bay, we saw a wonderful sunset and gave the local midges a good feed.
