Walking in the Snow part 2

On Sunday, there was still a lot of compacted snow and ice on St.Margaret's Road, so instead of going to Portishead, we walked beside Broome Manor Golf Course and to Coate Water, and back via The Sun Inn.
The sky was so blue, and this tree looked glorious against it
Further down the track, we came across this rock carved in memory of ecologist Cassandra Clunes placed in Cassos Wood which was planted in January 1992.
The trees look dramatic against the snow

Coate Water seen from the end of Broome Manor Lane is always beautiful, and was stunning last Sunday
The surface of the water was frozen, you might just be able to see a swan standing on the ice in the middle of the photo.
Maybe this is a bit clearer?
and this one is a bit more zoomed in
Round the other side of the lake, the miniature railway area looked lovely
