It was Artsite's AGM last week, and a very civilised affair it was too with fabulous cake made by Paula Sullivan and lots of other nibbles and Prosecco which we weren't allowed until the business part of the meeting was over. It was a good chance to catch up with everyone.
And having chatted and finished the Prosecco, we went to have a look at the gallery space in the Post Modern, the former Post Office building.
It will be put to a variety of uses, including an exhibition space.
This Saturday there's a launch of
with music and poetry, sounds good.
On the way home I tried to keep up with the Thursday 8-9pm #SwindonHour on Twitter. I was at the helm, so it was important to try and keep going while walking up the hill.
On the way I took photos of the former church at the bottom of Vic hill, and then took advantage of the 3 houses on Vic Hill being knocked down to take what I thought was an interesting view of Christ Church when the phone blacked out.
I rushed home and managed to join in with SwindonHour again when I'd plugged the phone in. We were lucky thta night that the promised 'heavy snowfalls' didn't materialise until about 9.30pm
