Tim Carroll's Second Open Studios weekend

Opening for both weekends of open studios was in hindsight a bit ambitious, the second weekend flew by in a bit of a hazy dream, and so I didn't take many photos when visitors were around, but when I awoke on the Saturday morning I could see a sliver of red from behind the curtain. As I opened the curtains this statue was beautifully illuminated, and even the shadow looked fabulous
Minutes later the light had changed a lot, the warm glow had become daylight
Encouraged by the first photos of the day, I went round the house photographing other things to put on social media to encourage visitors, here are more ceramic pieces grouped together on a shelf at the bottom of the stairs
The front room housed some of the 100 Views of Swindon paintings, prints and postcards
from there I went into the studio and took a photo of the painting Tim had on the go at the time along with surrounding stuff.
The living room had a selection of paintings, hard to get a feeling of this room, because it's not big enough to get a good shot of the work
And possibly my favourite piece of all is this ceramic panel of 6 figures. I do prefer them without their spears!
I did manage to take one photo of visitors in the kitchen during the weekend
We had a wonderful 2 weekends at open studios, and I'm very grateful to the organising committee for making it happen.
