Stars in the Garden

A favourite activity of mine is to walk round the garden in the morning, seeing how plants have progressed since the previous day. With the sudden warm weather, flowering and plant growth is rapidly accelerated, so plants have reached peak flowering and are 'over' very quickly.
Here are some beauties from yesterday:
Above a fantastic Phlox,  they do so well in pots
Below a perennial wallflower, I think it's Erymisium 'Bowles Mauve' I must take some cuttings, it's getting a bit blowsy and woody, but looks impressive.
The next two are nameless for the moment, the first grows fabulously vigorously in my garden
and this one is new to the garden, did I sow the seeds in that spot in the autumn? I don't know, but it is growing very vigorously.
I love Acers, this one is looking particularly fine at the moment:
Below this Tiarella does very well providing it's not in direct sun
Below Geranium pyrenaicum 'Bill Wallis' was given by a friend and has taken a few years to make itself at home in the garden, but is now very happy in several spots around the garden.
I love Cammassias, and am thrilled to see that mine have done well this year, I was concerned they weren't thriving, but the clump is getting bigger.
I love Jack go to bed at noon and yesterday was its first day of flowering this year. This is another plant I've tried to introduce into the garden, which is now all over the place, but it's beautiful, and the seed heads are just magic. If you click on the link, you can see someone else was thrilled by them as well.
For my last plant yesterday I chose this Euphorbia first seen at RHS Rosemoor, it's hard to photograph successfully, it's called 'Black Pearl', and has established really well in the garden.
This morning the Aquelegias are all coming out!! But they weren't yesterday. The Epimediums are also gorgeous at the moment, particularly 'Amber Queen', They need a post all to themselves.
