We were very lucky that TWIGS snowdrop and soup day was fine, and although chilly, not wet, so the snowdrops were looking at their best. I looked round, took a few photos and then went and got some home made sausage rolls, soup and a chunk of bread and sat with friends in the sunny courtyard where it was quite sheltered and warm. Last year, I missed out on buying a kokedama, they'd all gone by the time I arrived, so was determined not to miss out this year, arriving 5 minutes before opening time, guaranteed a pick of the things for sale. Kokedama apparently means 'moss ball' in Japanese and if you click on the link, you'll find out how to make one. They are apparently difficult to keep hydrated. Mine has snowdrops in it, so I'll keep it somewhere shady and damp when the flowers have faded.

The snowdrops in the theatre were in perfect condition with flowers just perfectly open

There was a lovely arrangement of snowdrops at the entrance to the thatched meeting house
