We're holding a Christmas market next Sunday 17 December from 11-4pm at 52, St.Margaret's Road featuring Tim Carroll's ceramics, 100 Views originals, prints and books as well as paintings. Tim is making lots of new ceramics for the event, not being photographed yet because they might blow up in the kiln.
Here are a few of the pieces on offer, starting with my favourite, the ceramic clocks, functional as well as things of beauty:
there are also some decorative bullfinches and sparrows
and birds in a tree plaques which hang on a wall, or can be propped up
There are a range of figures, two large, and interesting pair silhouetted against the blinds and two seated women
Toby jugs, mostly with handles are very attractive and can be used to keep pens in one place, or to
display dried ornamental grasses and poppy seed heads
These Grecian figure adorned pots are also good for the same use. Each pot is hand made and the figures are different on each one.
Last but by no means least, the dishes are also very sweet and useful
