Paradise Beach, hummingbirds, goats and a sunset

The view from the beach below our apartment, on a sunny day, was fabulous. Here are a few photos:
In the one above, you're looking out to Mabouya Island.
And below, the end of the peninsular.
And looking the other way towards the aptly named, Paradise Beach.
Walking along the road, we noticed lots of pink flowers loved by hummingbirds. I've taken lots of photos of one of them, I think these two are the best:
and this one, in about the middle of the picture!
We walked to  Paradise Beach, and found it was indeed very lovely, but not deserted, and we'd been spoilt by 'our' beaches at the end of the peninsular where you saw footprints, but rarely people.
However we enjoyed lunch at Off the Hook, and continued down the beach to Fidel's craft shop in a former container and bought Grenadian chocolate, soap and a card painted by Anna Allegra Desio which perfectly captured the atmosphere at the beach.
Here's Lyn discussing the food
and the lovely view of it from the outside:
Walking around a place is a great way of getting to know it, and on Carriacou, we saw many instances where people had put up signs about litter and even provided litter bins for people to use. It made me think that it's possibly something we could do around here.
This one on a lamp post says: 'Pollution ain't cool so don't be a fool'.
There were also lots of goats everywhere and hens with chicks
the hen is in shadow so hard to see.
There was a fantastic sunset on 1 March at Black Sand beach if you follow the link, you'll see some fantastic photos of the beach, and ones of nearby White Sand Beach taken by John Peltier who also visited the beach in 2016.

It's wonderful to find a place to watch the sunset. I didn't get a more dramatic one than this, although quite a calm one two days later.
